Weite announce “Oase”, a new album coming in November

A futuristic late-night shop.

Weite, the Berlin-based progressive rock collective has announced their second album, following 2022’s AssemblageOase is slated for release on November 22nd.

Clocking in at almost an hour, “Oase” — German for “oasis” — takes listeners on an intricate and textured journey that draws inspiration from the pioneering spirit of 70s psychedelic rock, blending influences from “Canterbury scene” prog, Krautrock, early electronica, post rock, and Americana.

Oase is characterized by long, expansive, atmospheric compositions yet is undoubtedly more structured and song-oriented than the band’s debut, albeit in the broader sense of the word. Expect more details in the coming weeks along with new music!
