Spidergawd’s eighth album, From Eight to Infinity, closes the band’s Roman numeral era while delivering their signature twin guitars, layered vocals, and baritone sax. Shifting from the 80s pop-rock leanings of VII, the new record is more direct and hard-hitting, drawing from the raw energy of AC/DC and Cheap Trick as well as the heavy power of Metallica and Black Sabbath.
