Resjemheia is a Norwegian band featuring drummer Kenneth Kapstad (ex-Motorpsycho) which plays traditional folk music from the north with a modern twist. “Uhuru” means freedom in Swahili and and consists of original material together with traditional hardingfiddle tunes. The mood is both energetic, claustrophobic and melancholic. On this album they are joined by three good friends of the band on several tunes, Thov G. Wetterhus on mouthharp, Viktor Wilhelmsen on guitar and Olav Torget on konting.
