Øyvind Holm is referred to by many as one of Norway’s most prolific songwriters, in addition to being a member of Dipsomaniacs and Sugarfoot. The Unreliable Narrator is a somewhat rawer record than his previous efforts, as Holm posed himself the question “what would my pop songs sounds like if recorded in a late 70’s Berlin environment?”. The result evokes early Eno, Guided By Voices, and Pavement amongst others.
