Additional information

With confident and heavy guitar riffs, catchy choruses and dizzying guitar solos, Mother Trudy swoops in as a new and exciting rock band from Oslo. The four piece, which consists of an even draw of Swedes and Norwegians, chooses rock history from the top shelf without ending up sounding too retro.

Their debut album Mother Trudy respectfully acknowledges the past while giving classic rock stylings a tasteful modern touch. Generations of puritanical Sabbathians, warriors of the NWOBHM and 90’s Soundgarden-esque heavy rock will all find something to love in this record. To put it shortly: “Mother Trudy is for all you out there who like to bang your head when you hear rock ‘n’ roll.” (The Wilhelmsens music blog)

Coming together in late 2016 for the first time, Mother Trudy wasted no time in releasing a four song EP, a music video and also turning heads at some of Oslo’s most legendary venues. Their debut record was recorded live and raw at Velvet Recording with the expertise of Frode Martinsen as producer and was mixed by Kai Christoffersen. The album will be released on Division Records and distributed in Europe by Stickman Records.
