New webstore arrivals: 35007, The Flaming Lips, Kings Of The Valley and more

Plenty of new arrivals have landed in our webstore thus far in September!

35007 – Phase V (reissue) – At long last, a vinyl reissue of the final 35007 album from 2005! This opus of proggy space rock is a milestone in instrumental psychedelic rock. Available on both clear and black vinyl from Burning World Records.

The Flaming Lips – American Head – A band that needs no introduction, we think – and yet a newcomer in our humble shop. “Required listening for anyone who’s gone on their own quarantine-induced walk down memory lane in search of a way to survive this year.” (Consequence Of Sound)

Kings Of The Valley – Kings Of The Valley – Our first title from new distro partners Wonderful and Strange Records out of Norway. Kings Of The Valley’s debut record is a blissful piece of lush, melodic progressive/psychedelic rock with hints of classic prog for good measure. It’s sure to please fans of Stickman stalwarts Motorpsycho, Elder and Papir.

Atlanta – Nugrybauti – The latest from our friends at Lay Bare Recordings. Atlanta is an instrumental jam band from the Netherlands whose three members share their love for bands like Jimi Hendrix Experience, Yawning Man, electric Miles Davis and instrumental Black Flag in their spontaneous improvisations.

Psychlona – Venus Skytrip – A heady portion of fuzzy riffs and desert-driven grooves await the listener on the second LP from UK rock merchants Psychlona. Cursed Tongue Records never disappoints!
