Orango, Norway’s hardest working rock n’ roll band, has just released their seventh full-length Evergreens. With that much material under their belt, one might wonder how a band continues setting the bar for modernized classic rock – we maintain that there’s something in the water up in Oslo – but just kick back and have your faith restored.
Evergreens is a special record in the Orango catalog and one perfectly suited to vinyl: approaching the A-side, one can hear a decidedly stripped-down approach that sounds like a band hammering it out hard on stage. The B-side, however, contains a single, 16-minute long epic like nothing ever before heard from the band. Check out that song and a great review of the record at the Obelisk, and then grab your copy now!
